Design Process Steps

3. Pay $150 Design Deposit, payable via PayPal invoice, credit card or personal check. Once I receive the all the information above, I will send an invoice.
4. Schedule the 60-minute design session, where we will review the sketches and finalize the design, fabric and rhinestone details. Design information, skater photo, music and design deposit must be received before the design session is scheduled.
5. Pay the 50% balance to get the dress into the production queue. Please note that many clients pay the 50% deposit to get in the production queue before program music is selected in order to have a spot reserved for the busy December - June season.
6. Long distance clients will receive information on sending measurements and photos of measurements being taken.
7. It's time for a fitting! For long distance clients, the dress and a checklist is mailed. Photos or videos are taken to see how the dress fits, and we agree upon any alterations that needed. The dress is shipped back to Sk8 Gr8 Designs to finalize sewing and embellishments.
8. The dress is completed. For long distance clients, approval photos are sent, the balance due is paid, and the dress is shipped.
*Download the Sk8 Gr8 Designs Design Form to your computer, and save it to a folder, it can be renamed, for example, Jane Smith Design Information. Open the Jane Smith Design Information from the folder, type in your answers and Save. Email to info@sk8gr8designs.com. Please note that entering a competition date in the design information form does not guarantee delivery by that date.
